Standard Test Method for Cloud Point of Petroleum Products
The test sample is cooled at a set speed and periodically checked.
The temperature at which turbidity is just beginning to appear in the lower part of the flat-bottomed test vessel is recorded as the turbidity temperature.
This International Standard establishes a method for determining the turbidity temperature of petroleum products that are transparent in a 40 mm thick layer and have a turbidity temperature below 49 °C.
